Sharpening is the most important skill in hand tool woodworking. In this class you will learn how to consistently produce a razor sharp edge capable of cutting mirror smooth end grain shavings, and leaving a glossy finish-ready surface on the face of your boards.

- Lapping (flattening the back of the blade)
- Grinding (grinding a new bevel)
- Honing (first step in sharpening)
- Polishing (final step in sharpening)
