Build Must-Have Hand Tool Jigs

Upgrade your bench with invaluable fixtures

All required tools and material are provided in this course. 

We will build the following:

  1. Dovetail alignment board. This fixture allows for flawless transferring of dovetails to pin boards for accurate pins right off the saw.
  2. Bench hook. This fixture provides a platform on which you can crosscut with your handsaw or pare with chisels. This will be a two-piece which allows you to work on short or long boards.
  3. Sticking board. Sticking boards provide work holding on two axes, enabling secure planing of faces as well as operations like cutting grooves with a plow plane.
